Kolkata: Monday, at a 5 star hotel near EM Bypass, Mohammedan Sporting and Market Cube officially announced their tie up. As of now, it’s been heard that they are having a contract of 3 years. Also, it was already known that the share will be divided in equal ratio (50-50). Mohammedan Sporting also launched their home and away kit of the season in this program. Aditya Raj, the top official of Market Cube has a clear vision from day 1. “We want to play in the ISL”, that’s what he said in the program. Deepak Kumar Singh, another top official who was associated with the cricket team of Mohammedan Sporting Club, now will also be a part of the new management that will take care of the footballing side. He will be joining the management after buying the club shares.
Wasim Akram, the secretary of the club was very happy with the deal. He called it the “best day of my life”. Meanwhile, the football secretary, Dipendu Biswas is more focused on the 2nd Division league which is starting from 8th October.
