Kolkata: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was bestowed with the Life-Time Membership by Mohammedan Sprting Club today . Mr Bachchan , who is shooting for his upcoming film Teen (3) in Kokata for past few weeks visited the historical Mohammedan Sporting Club Tent on Tuesday to shoot a very important sequence of the film involving the 125-year-old club and its youth development project players.
Meanwhile, taking full advantage of the opportunity Mohammedan Sporting Management felicitated the living legend and bestowed with the Hony. Life-Time Membership of the club. During the occasion the club President Janab Sultan Ahmed, MP announced the beginning of club’s 125th Anniversary Celebrations and invited Sri. Bachchan as the Chief Guest.
Sri. Bachchan who spent the entire day at the club tent has gleefully accepted the invitation and said he will be attending the gala event, to be held later this year. Besides Sri. Bachchan, “Felu Da” Sabyasachi Chakrabarty were also part of the shooting schedule . Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was also bestowed with Life Time Membership few years back by the century old club .
