Image Source: File Pic[/caption] Kolkata: Indian speedster Mohammed Shami has joined the Indian team on Monday evening. Shami was ruled out from the Asia Cup due to an injury. Bhuvaneswar Kumar replaced him in the Asia Cup. After a long injury period Shami was recalled to the Indian team for the Australia tour but was again ruled out from the team due to a hamstring injury. National Cricket Academy physio Andrew Leipus came down to Kolkata to assess Shami’s fitness. Although BCCI have not yet confirmed about Shami’s selection, the bowler himself sounds confident ahead of the World T20. “I am fully fit” said the Indian pacer. “I am under the ICC code of conduct now. But I hope I will be in the 15 men’s team. Keeping my fingers crossed.” He further added. Bhuvaneswar Kumar has played only one match in the recently concluded Asia Cup against UAE. He had an impressive bowling spell of 4-2-8-2. India will begin their campaign in World T20 against New Zealand on March 15 at Nagpur.
