Manchester United’s strong comeback gave the red devils all 3 points; Manchester City and Chelsea won as well

XtraTime Web Desk- Playing against West Ham is not easy this season. David Moyes’ side has been very good so far in the season. However, Manchester United did a commendable job beating West Ham away.

West Ham started strongly and took the lead in the 38th minute as Tomas Soucek scored for them. Manchester United again failed to keep a clean sheet but more importantly they made a strong comeback in the second half.

Paul Pogba, a man who’s reportably not happy at the club scored the equaliser in the 65th minute from a Bruno Fernandes assist. Minutes later, Mason Greenwood scored in the 68th minute and then Marcus Rashford hit the bar in the 72nd minute. That didn’t kill Rashford’s momentum as he then scored in the 78th minute to seal the deal in favour of Manchester United. With this 3-1 win over West Ham, Manchester United are now 4th in the league table with 19 points from 10 games.

It wasn’t a tough fixture for Manchester City when the faced Fulham on Saturday. Raheem sterling scored very early in the game on the 5th minute mark. Minutes later, Manchester City was awarded a penalty and Kevin De bruyne made no mistake and gave Manchester City a 2-0 lead over Fulham. They created few chances after that as Kevin De Bruyne’s shot hit the post in the 50th minute. The match ended 2-0 and City got all 3 points taking them to 5th place, with 18 points from 10 games.

Chelsea has won again but failed to keep a clean sheet this time. Facing Leeds United, Chelsea were 1-0 down as Patrick Bamford gave Leeds the lead in the 4th minute mark. The match took a completely different shape after the goal. Both the teams were playing their best game as Timo Werner’s shot hit the post in the 9th minute and Ezgjan Alioski’s shot hit the post in the 19th minute mark. After a bit of back and forth, Chelsea scored the equaliser in the 27th minute as Oliver Giroud scored for the blues.

Chelsea didn’t look back from there as they again scored in the 61st minute as Kurt Zouma gave them the lead and Christian Pulisic doubled their lead in the 93rd minute to seal the deal. Chelsea are now sitting at the top of the table with 22 points from 11 games.
