Man of the Match Mustafizur helped Sussex to an important win

Internet Desk: Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman delivered what he was expected for his newly joined England club Sussex. On his debut match the pacer man saved the club in their do-or-die T20 match by picking 4 wickets. His spell made the team win the match against Essex.

Sussex was needed a match winner. For that the struggled hard to get Mustafizur. As he landed on the soil of England he was named in the first 11 of Sussex ignoring the jet lag. However, Mustafijur fulfilled their expectation by picking 4 wickets in expense of only 24 runs in four overs.

“We had toiled a lot t bring him up to here. At last we got the fruit of waiting for Mustafizur. What a special player!” captain of Sussex, Luke Wright expressed his experience witnessing Mustafizur. Sussex bat first in the match. Mustafizur had not to bat in the batting innings. Sussex scored 200 for 6 in their innings.

In the bowling innings Mustafizur was called at the last over of the power play. In the sixth over he started changing the mood of the match. He stopped the run flow of Essex by giving only 4 runs. The magic spell started at the slog over of the match. In the 16th over he gave only 2 runs picking up 1 wicket. The wicket was the captain of Essex England national player Ravi Bopara.

Mustafizur got 2 wickets in the 18th over. It was obviously a maiden over. He got the last over to bowl for his team. In that over he picked up another demolishing every chance for Essex to win. This win helped Sussex to be placed at the fourth of the table of NatWest T20 Blast. Also Mustafizur was awarded Man of the Match. However, he did not react after the match.
