The Indian captain scored a brilliant fifty (53 off 39) along with Virat Kohli (62*) and Suryakumar Yadav (51*). Virat and Surya were involved in an unbeaten partnership of 95 runs.
In reply, the Netherlands could only manage to reach 123/9, losing the contest by 56 runs. All the Indian bowlers contributed with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh picking two wickets each.
