Lionel Messi posts a positive message for his fans on social media as he recovers from COVID-19
Xtra Time Web Desk : Current Ballon d'Or holder Lionel Messi on Thursday posted a message for his fans on social media for the first time after he was tested positive for COVID-19. The Argentine superstar was tested positive for the deadly virus on January 2 before he was tested negative on January 5.
The PSG forward took to Instagram to open up on his recent struggles with COVID and said, "As you know I had Covid and I wanted to thank you all for the messages I received. It has taken me longer than I thought to be OK but I'm almost recovered and I'm looking forward to getting back on the field. I'm training to get back to being at 100%, great challenges are coming this year and I hope we can see each other again."
Although Messi is on his way to recover fully but a few reports suggest that the former Barcelona forward is likely to miss PSG's weekend Ligue 1 clash against Brest.
