However, why couldn’t Messi reach an agreement with Barcelona? As per the news, even though star players like Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Gerard Piqué left, Barcelona did not offer Messi the financial terms he desired. On the other hand, Al-Hilal will have to wait until 2024 to potentially sign Messi.
