XtraTime Web Desk: A late strike from Julian Draxler helped Paris Saint Germain register its first win (1-0) against Metz in the Ligue 1 this season at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday. The reigning champions were without their talismanic player Neymar who was suspended for two matches for his involvement in the brawl in the last match against Marseille on Sunday.
Neymar was among five players sent off following an injury-time brawl against arch rivals Marseill. The Brazilian international was the last of five red cards in Sunday’s bad-tempered Ligue 1 match after he hit Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez. Neymar later accused his opponent of racism on social media and urged the authorities to use VAR to investigate. Gonzalez has denied Neymar’s claim. The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), the governing body of professional French football, has confirmed it will investigate Neymar’s accusation.

Thomas Tuchel’s side was reduced to 10 men as Abdou Diallo was sent off after 65 minutes. But that did not stop the reigning champions from claiming their first full points in the league. German midfielder Draxler headed home the winner in the 93rd-minute of the match to give PSG a hard earned victory.
