Legendary Australian opener Matthew Hayden suffers head injury, later posts pictures on social media

XtraTime Web Desk: Legendary Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden recently involved in a massive accident which caused a horrific injury on his forehead.




After some improvement the fiery opener himself posted an image of his injury on his official Instagram account to convey the message to the fans. As per the news he went to Straddie Back Bank for surfing with his son Joshua Hayden and during this he lost his balance which caused a head injury to his head.




He has now fractured his C6 while C4 and C5 ligaments are torn. However, the cricketer was quick to assure everyone that he is safe now and thanked his friends Ben & Sue Kelley for the fast diagnosis with MRI and CT Scans after the incident took place.




“Took on Straddie back bank yesterday with @josh_hayden28 and lost!!! Game over for a few days. Ok. Last attention seeking post I promise. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all our mates on Straddie who have been so supportive. Especially Ben & Sue Kelley for the fast diagnosis with MRI, CT scan. Fractured C6, torn C5, C4 ligaments safe to say I truly have dodged a bullet. Thank you everyone, On the road to recovery,” Hayden wrote in the series of posts.
