IND vs BAN: Even without runs, Virat Kohli is placed on the pedestal of a god, But how?
Xtra Time Web Desk: A ground staff member in Kanpur decided to approach Virat Kohli ahead of the 2nd Test and proceeded to touch the feet of the Indian star ahead of play on Day 1 on September 27, Friday. Kohli and India are looking to wrap up the series and complete a clean sweep against Bangladesh at Green Park.
The start of play was delayed on Friday due to a wet outfield because of overnight rain. As the ground staff were taking off one of the covers, Kohli was stepping out to get some practice in before the start of play.

This is when the ground staff member appraoched the star batter and proceeded to touch his feet. Kohli tried to acknowledge the staff member and tried to play it down.

Kohli will be aiming to bounce back in the Kanpur Test after his failure in the first game in Chennai. The star batter, who was making his return to the Test side, scored 6 and 17 runs across both the innings. Kohli will aim to get some form in before the start of the New Zealand series and the Border Gavaskar Trophy tour in Australia.
