During a brief 15-minute meeting on Friday, the ICC Board discussed three potential options for the tournament's venue:

1) A hybrid model, with most matches in Pakistan but India's games played elsewhere.
2) Hosting the tournament entirely outside Pakistan, while the PCB retains hosting rights.
3) Holding all matches in Pakistan, excluding India's participation.

The uncertainty stems from the Indian government’s decision not to permit the national team to play in Pakistan, as stated by the BCCI. Any resolution will likely require approval from both Indian and Pakistani governments.
