BGT 2024-25: Rain washes out Day 1, how will the game take place on Day 2?
Xtra Time Web Desk: The Day 1 of India's warm-up fixture against Prime Minister's XI has been called off due to rain on Saturday, November 30 at Manuka Oval, Canberra so it will be a 50 over per side side match on Day 2.
There was no play possible on the opening day as the inclement weather didn’t get fine with time passing. This match is the only preparation match before the big Adelaide Test starting from December 6. It is important for Indian side to play a bit to adjust themselves with the conditions.Â

Play has been abandoned for Day 1 and will resume tomorrow (Sunday) at 9:10 am IST. Coin toss will be at 8:40 am IST.

The Rohit Sharma-led side hasn’t played a pink ball Test since March 2022. Hence, the players and the coaches were eagerly looking forward towards the game with the rain's interruption in game, the situation is a bit complex for now. According to ESPNCricinfo, the Day 2 will feature a 50-over per side match giving India an equal opportunity to practice with both bat and ball.
