BGT 2024-25: Gautam Gambhir hits hard on 'intimidation' remark, find what he says!
Xtra Time Web Desk: India coach Gautam Gambhir has hammered it back to Australia over 'intimidation' remark. The series has witnessed many heated moment between players but now Indian coach replied to the Aussie coach claiming India tried to intimidate young Sam Kontas.
The most heated moment occurred in Day 1 of the match at the Sydney Cricket Ground when he had an altercation with Jasprit Bumrah. As a result, Bumrah then proceed to celebrate in front of Konstas after dismissing Usman Khawaja off the very next ball with the rest of his teammates joining in.

On day 2, Australia coach Andrew McDonald claimed that the Indian side were looking to intimidate the youngster. Talking on it, India Coach Gautam Gambhir further denied this comment reminding this is a tough sport played by tough men, and they can't be soft.
During the post match press conference, he stated, "It's a tough sport played by tough men. You can't be that soft. As simple as it can get."

The India coach gave Australia a reality check that the Aussie players have done the same in the past saying "I think whatever has happened is history. Whatever happened happened. It is a tough sport played by tough men and these things happen,"
"I don't think we need to make a big issue out of it."
"It is not just incidents that have happened in this series. It has happened in the past as well. A lot of Australian players in the past have done it as well. We keep making a big deal out of these things."
