Xtra Time Web Desk: India coach Gautam Gambhir claimed that the team cannot always be dependent on one player to get a victory on Sunday, January 5.

While addressing to the media after India lost the final test of Border Gavaskar Trophy and the series as well, the India coach Gautam Gambhir claimed the loss wasn't due to Bumrah's absence.

"First of all, I don't want to say that, since Jasprit Bumrah wasn't there, we couldn't get the result. We had our moments, and it would have been nice if he had been there. We still had 5 bowlers and a good team that shouldn't be dependent on one individual. We didn't get the result, as simple as it gets," said Gambhir.

Bumrah was phenomenal as he ended up the series picking 32 wickets in the series at a stunning average of 13.06. While talking on him, Gambhir stated "Absolutely outstanding. I can't say more than that. Whenever he has come on to bowl, he has done a fabulous job. He has done everything possible from his side. He has also been helped from the other side by Mohammed Siraj and some of the young boys
