BGT 2024-25: 'Bumrah Magic!' leaves Michael Vaughan and Daren Lehmann in awe, find what they say!
Xtra Time Web Desk: Jasprit Bumrah delivered a masterclass in pace bowling on Day 4 of the fourth Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), leaving Australia struggling to recover. With Australia reeling at 135/6 after Tea, Bumrah’s sensational figures of 4/30 in 14 overs gave India a fighting chance to push for victory.
Despite Australia’s commanding 105-run lead in the first innings, Bumrah turned the tide with his lethal accuracy, steep bounce, and late movement. The Indian vice-captain, who had earlier claimed his 200th Test wicket by dismissing Travis Head, kept the hosts on the back foot, exposing their vulnerability against his relentless attack.

Former cricketers were quick to heap praise on Bumrah’s brilliance. Michael Vaughan hailed him as the ‘greatest of all time,’ while Darren Lehmann humorously admitted that Bumrah could have dismissed him ‘twice’ in three balls.
“The Greatest of all time is doing what he does best here at the ‘G’ .. @Jaspritbumrah93 is incredible .. #AUSvIND,” Vaughan tweeted.
Lehmann added, “How good is he. Brilliant would have got us out in three balls and it’s only three balls because he would have got me twice and one a no ball.”
