Xtra Times Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Indian Premier League (IPL) have announced the date of the mega auction along with the detailed list of 574 players shortlisted for the much-awaited mega-auction. The event is all set to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25.

The two-day auction is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM (IST) on both days that means India’s Perth Test coincides with the auction. The first Test of the BGT series between India and Australia starts on November 22 in Perth with game begining at 7:50 AM IST. The IPL auction is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM IST, meaning both Day 3, and Day 4's action will have come to an end by the time the event kicks off in Jeddah.

Many questions are raising on its overlap with India's Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series against Australia as many players from both side are also included in the list. They have to manage their focus carefully. Their will be excitement, a bit nervousness too as many of them will go under hammer for the first time but their focus needs to be on the match.
