Bengal Pro T20 League: Jayojit, Mukesh power Sobisco Smashers Malda beat Kolkata Tigers
Xtra Time Web Desk: Jayojit Basu scored a fine 50-ball 55 while Mukesh Kumar (3-10) was superb with the ball as Sobisco Smashers Malda beat Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers by 7 wickets in the Bengal Pro T20 League at the Eden Gardens on Friday.
Enroute his match-winning knock, Jayojit hit five boundaries and two sixes. Writam Porel (35 not out) and Akhil (2-17) were also impressive for Sobisco Smashers Malda.

Batting first, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers managed to post 117/8 in 20 overs. Subham Chatterjee (35) and Akash Pandey (30) were the pick of the batters.

In reply, despite losing the first two wickets for 38 inside 6 overs, Jayojit and Writam played sensibly as Sobisco Smashers Malda went over the line, scoring 121/3 in 17.2 overs.
For Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers, Akash bagged 2 for 10.
