XtraTime Web Desk: Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane did not risked Gareth Bale during the warm up match at Alfredo di Stefano stadium on Saturday. The entire squad was in its official jersey as they played a full practice match among themselves at Valdebebas. Real will be taking on Eibar on June 14 as La Liga is all set to resume after the forced break from COVID-19.

The Real Madrid gaffer did not want to risk Bale in the warm up match with a view to keep him fresh for the Eibar clash. Last week during training sessions Fede Valverde, Isco and Nacho sustained slight injuries. All four of them have been left out of training to reduce the problems as Zidane doesn’t want to lose any players with an intense end to the LaLiga Santander season just around the corner.

The match was played between two teams with the first team comprising of players who are likely to play in the clash against Eibar. The match ended in a 2-2 draw. A team dressed in white and featured players like Hazard, Benzema, Kroos, James Rodríguez, Carvajal, Modric and Varane. The other team wore the third uniform, green, and had the Brazilians Vinicius Junior, Casemiro, Militão, Rodrygo and Marcelo, in addition to Valverde, Isco, Lucas Vázquez and Sergio Ramos.

According to the Spanish press, Zidane seeks to ensure that his team does not feel a friendly atmosphere in official matches, which will be without an audience and in a stadium considerably smaller than the Santiago Bernabéu.
