Xtra Time Web Desk: Time does not seem well for Team India’s chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav. The spinner from Uttar Pradesh has landed himself into a trouble as the Kanpur administration ordered a probe into an allegation that he took his COVID-19 vaccine at a ‘guest house’ other than the hospital where he had booked a slot.

The mystery spinner of Team India had received a dose on Saturday. Kuldeep posted a photo of himself getting vaccinated and urged everyone to get the jab in order to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. “Get vaccinated immediately whenever you get a chance. Be safe because you need to be united in the fight against COVID-19,” the 26-year-old had tweeted in Hindi.

According to PTI report, Yadav was given a jab in the lawn of the Kanpur Nagar Nigam guest house, instead of Jageshwar Hospital in Govind Nagar for which he had taken an appointment, a senior official on condition of anonymity said.

Kanpur District Magistrate Alok Tiwari said ADM Atul Kumar has been asked to enquire about the matter properly and submit the report at the earliest.

Kuldeep Yadav is currently out of the Indian test squad that will travel to England for the ICC World Test Championship Final against New Zealand followed by five test match series versus England.
