File Pic[/caption] Internet Desk: According to latest reports, Virat Kohli and his teammates are yet receive their match fees along with the bonus after the stellar performance that team India has put up in the home turf over the past few months. One of the main reasons of the fees defaulter is due to the clash between Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the new revenue model as published in a report in ‘’The  Indian Express”. "Usually, we get our dues within a month or 15 days of a Test match but this time, the delay has been long. We don’t know what the reason is but such delays have never happened earlier," a regular member of the Indian national team was quoted as saying by The Indian Express. As per the new contact laid by BCCI which was effective from 1st October, 2016, the players were supposed to be paid Rs 15 lakhs per test, Rs 6 lakhs per ODI and Rs 3 lakhs per T20 match. Not just the men’s cricket team, the Indian women’s team also awaits their payment. The players are also supposed to receive the bonus which was doubled by COA when the Indian team registered a 2-1 victory in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. "The BCCI SGM has passed unanimous resolution that players who were a part of Australia series win should get double the incentive. Hence they will now be paid Rs 1 crore instead of Rs 50 lakh," a state unit functionary had said after attending the BCCI SGM on April 18. However sources have revealed that the payment of players are now being handled by the COA and not by BCCI and hence the release of the cheques can be approved by COA only. "The payment is delayed because of various issues. The BCCI didn’t have the official signatory in February and later there was confusion over whether Amitabh Choudhary (acting secretary) can clear these payments because only the secretary can give all approvals. As for the women’s payments, their agreement with BCCI is yet to be signed and once it is officially done, their payment will be released," a BCCI official was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.
