XtraTime Web Desk – Kerala Blasters vs Jamshedpur FC ended 0-0 after both the teams needed a win to make their progress. However both failed to capitalize their chances and the match locked level after 90 minutes.

Jamshedpur was right at it from the start. They had the pedigree and was very close to score the opening goal but Albino Gomes’ touch deflected the ball. It was a long range effort and Albino made a brilliant dive to meet it.

Jamshedpur kept the pressure on Keralan defense who were mostly who were mostly dependent on counter-attacks. Kerala at a point almost conceded but Jamshedpur missed an easy chance after great build-up.

It was another such match where referee’s decision wasn’t right. Blasters fans are furious on social media when Gary Hooper’s shot crossed the line but referee couldn’t see and the goal didn’t count. Kerala finished on a strong note as they hit the bar once again in the 42nd minute but their luck simply didn’t favour them. It wasn’t all. Just before the halftime whistle, Puitea’s shot hit the post once again and Kerala was denied for the 3rd time in a matter of 7 minutes!

Jamshedpur once again started the half on a strong note but Kerala fired back pretty soon. Other than the bars, TP Rehenesh also had a rough day but was ready for the challenges and delivered throughout the night.

Another man who was in great form was Murray. He could’ve scored a hat-trick but he didn’t have the luck at all. However, he deserves all the credit for creating all those opportunities for Kerala in the park. Kerala looked to end well as well but again, fortune didn’t favour them as the match finished 0-0.

Kerala now has 15 points from 14 games and moved up to 8th in the table while Jamshedpur are 7th in the league with same amount of matches and points but with a better goal difference.
