Italy legend finally ends his 17 years association with Juventus

XtraTime Web Desk: Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has announced that he is going to leave Juventus after a long 17 years association with the Serie A giant.

The Serie A champions host Verona on Saturday in what will be the 40-year-old goalkeeper’s last game for the Italian side.

Buffon captained the club to a seventh straight title and fourth consecutive Italian Cup triumph this season.

“Saturday will be my last game for Juventus,” Buffon, who has won the Serie A title nine times, said. “I think it’s the best way to end this wonderful adventure.
