XtraTime Web Desk: Team India Head Coach Rahul Dravid lauded the New Zealand team for playing the three match T20I series against India within three days after playin g the final of T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE. Rohit Sharma led India made a clean sweep, winning the series 3-0. It was clearly evident that the visitors were going through the motion as each and every cricketer looked jaded both mentally and physically.

Team India Head Coach Dravid emphasized upon the reality and was reluctant to get carried away by the team's success against the Kiwis.

“It was a really good series win. Everyone played really well right through the series. It feels good, nice to start well. We are also quite realistic."

“We have to keep our feet on the ground and be a bit realistic about this win,” Dravid said at the post-match presentation ceremony at the Eden Gardens.

Kane Williamson and his team had to get on the park 24 hours after landing in India. The BlackCaps captain decided to pull himself out from the series in order to focus on the test series. Players like Kyle Jamieson was also rested for the three match T20I series in order to keep him refreshed.
