XtraTime Web Desk – Odisha FC faced Hyderabad FC on Monday. Both the teams needed a strong opening match after a disappointing season last time around.

Hyderabad however will go happy after 90 minutes as they won the match by a margin of 1-0. Aridane Santana led his team from front as he scored in the 35th minute. The ball touched Steven Taylor’s hand as he tried to tackle it out.

Hyderabad continued to play their attacking side football as Odisha were mostly depending on Counter-attacks. Just like the win, Hyderabad FC will also enjoy their first ever clean sheet in the Indian Super League. Subrata Paul now has 27 clean sheets in ISL, most by any player in the history of the tournament.

Halicharayan Narzary missed a sitter in the 87th minute that could have given Hyderabad a 2-0 win but they still will be very happy with all the 3 points.
