The ISL For The Best Football Team Has Reached Its Midway With Some Promising Results

Internet Desk: The Hero Indian Super League season three has now reached the halfway stage of the competition as all the teams have played almost half of their matches each. It's the first champion Atletico de Kolkata who is now on the top of the points table. To assess the situation and probability of the ongoing season, Xtratime spoke to Mohun Bagan coach Sanjoy Sen and former East Bengal gaffer and former Indian Captain Biswajit Bhattacharya. Here goes their assessment: XT: Who according to you are the probable semifinalists? Sanjoy Sen: It is tough to predict right now but I feel Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai will be there in the last four. Biswajit Bhattacharya: Well, I believe ATK, Northeast, Delhi, and Mumbai will go through to the semifinals. XT: Who according to you are the top three coaches in this ISL? Sanjoy Sen: I don't feel there are enough quality coaches in this ISL from whom the Indian coaches can learn. Still, if I have to choose, Jose Molina, Nelo Vingada, and Gianluca Zambrotta will be there in the top three. Biswajit Bhattacharya: To me, the top three coaches will be Jose Molina, Nelo Vingada, and Alexandre Guimaraes. Others are good but not as good as these three. XT: Who are the top three Indian players so far in this ISL? Sanjoy Sen: The Indian players are doing really well and I am happy for that. Though I didn’t get the time to watch all the games. I really got impressed with Rowllin Borges, Prabir Das, and Debjit Majumder. Rowllin has been brilliant so far and Prabir has shown his value to get selected in the first XI in every game. Debjit has been phenomenal in the last couple of years and he has maintained his class. Biswajit Bhattacharya: The Indians players are doing very well. My top three picks are Sena Ralte, Mehrajuddin, and Debjit Majumder. XT: Who are the top three foreigners so far in this ISL? Sanjoy Sen: I haven't found any outstanding foreigner this season. But still, Marcelinho, Rafael Augusto, and Sameehg Doutie will be there among the top three. Biswajit Bhattacharya: My top three picks among the foreigners will be Borja Fernandez, Lucian Goian, and Marcelinho. XT: Who according to you will be the probable champions?
