ISL 2018/19: David James reveals the reason why he wants to win the title

Kolkata: It has been a terrific start for the Kerala Blasters as they beat the home side ATK 2-0 in the first match at the Salt Lake Stadium.




Though the wining team coach David James is not very convinced with the team’s play as he said, “Thanks to the God that we have won the game. We didn’t play well in the first half but luckily we didn’t concede a goal.” James and the Kerala Blasters captain Sandesh Jhingan wants to carry the momentum forward throughout the season. The legendary English goalkeeper wants to dedicate the win to the flood victims of Kerala. Though he didn’t mean about this particular game.”We want to win the trophy. If we able to lift the trophy we will dedicate it to the flood victims of Kerala,” said James.




Young goalkeeper Dheeraj was also very excited as he said, “It’s dream come true for me. Coach gave me a chance to play for the team and I am proud to keep his faith. ”
