Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian test squad on Thursday was allowed to come out of the bio-bubble as they travelled from Southampton to London. The players will disperse with their families for three weeks. With most players having acquaintances in and around London, they are expected to be in the UK capital only.

“Some of the cricketers are tennis fans and if Wimbledon allows spectators, they might go for some of the matches. A few might be checking out if tickets for the Euro games at Wembley are available,” a BCCI office said to PTI on conditions of anonymity.

They will all assemble together in London on July 14 and then travel to Nottingham where the first Test will be played.

Meanwhile, there was a small concern as senior pacer Ishant Sharma sustained an injury to his bowling hand while trying to stop a drive off his own bowling in the New Zealand second innings during the World Test Championship Final, which India lost by eight wickets. Ishant will be required multiple stitches. He is expected to fully recover before the five test match series against England which starts from August 04.
