The IPL 2022 mega auction’s most expensive player, Ishan Kishan sustained a head injury during the second T20I against Sri Lanka and was rushed to a hospital in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The incident occurred in the fourth over of India’s innings when Kishan was hit by Lahiru Kumara’s sharp bouncer.
The impact of the delivery had Kishan taking off his helmet even as the Sri Lankan fielders gathered around him. Ishan was admitted to the normal ward as a precautionary measure and a CT scan was done immediately when he was admitted.
