Xtra Time Web Desk: Nicholas Pooran put on a scintillating display of power-hitting on Monday as he helped Lucknow Super Giants chase down a massive target of 213 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Coming in to bat in the 11th over with his team at 99/4, Pooran wasted no time in making an impact. He smashed a huge six off RCB spinner Karn Sharma off just the second ball he faced, and from there on, it was a spectacle of sixes. Pooran hit five more sixes to bring up his fifty in just 15 balls, which was the joint second-fastest in IPL history.

Pooran’s innings was nothing short of breathtaking, as he ended up scoring 62 runs off just 19 balls, including 4 fours and 7 sixes, at an astonishing strike rate of 326.32, which is the fourth-highest in an IPL innings with 50+ runs.
