IPL 2023 Final: Ahmedabad all set for the mega final between CSK and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi stadium

Xtra Time Web Desk: All roads will lead to the Narendra Modi stadium on Sunday as the stage is set for the grand final of IPL 2023. After 58 days and 73 matches, Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans will meet in the summit clash. All eyes will be on MS Dhoni as he might play his last IPL match. Who will be the star of the final – will it be Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja or someone like a Mohit Sharma. Tushar Deshpande, Devon Conway and Rashid Khan.

The anticipation for the final has been huge. Tickets are being sold like hot cakes. There is huge demand to get a ticket for the final which is set to be a full house. Fans have been queueing since the morning on Saturday to get hold of the hard copies of the tickets booked online. They have descended in Ahmedabad from all parts of the country.

Jerseys of both teams are being sold in a jiffy. There is more demand though for MS Dhoni jerseys. Fans from both teams are buying the jerseys of their favourite teams. A MS Dhoni jersey priced at INR 300 is being sold at INR 500 and it will go even higher on Sunday.

All roads will lead to Motera on Sunday as the biggest cricket carnival in India will come to an end. The local state government has organized special buses to take the fans to the stadiums. The metros will be running late till midnight.

There will be a grand closing ceremony as well with famous rap artists Divine and King to perform live along with Jonita and Nucleya. The closing ceremony will start at 6pm IST and will be in two halves with a brief 20 minutes show during mid-innings.

Gujarat Cricket Association has invited VVIPS and dignatories for the mega final. Board Presidents from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be in attendance to watch the final.

Will it be four time champions Chennai Super Kings or defending champs Gujarat Titans, we will have to wait for a few more hours to know the champions of IPL 2023.
