IPL 2022 : Take a look Kolkata Knight Riders predicted XI against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday
Xtra Time Web Desk : Kolkata Knight Riders will on Wednesday will play their third match of this season's Indian Premier League against five time champion Mumbai Indians, as they look to continue their good run of form under their new skipper Shreyas Iyer.
Against Rohit Sharma's men however, the Kolkata franchise is expected to place an unchanged side which played brilliantly against Punjab Kings to clinch a crunch 6 wicket win.
The opening pair of Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer is expected to keep their places in the team, in spite of Venkatesh Iyer being slightly off form this season so far. The next three are expected to be skipper Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana and Sam Billings undoubtedly, followed by the big hitting Andre Russell and Sunil Narine respectively.
The bowling line up is also expected to be the unchanged with Tim Southee, Shivam Mavi, Varun Chakravarthy and the purple cap holder Umesh Yadav respectively.
