Xtra Time Web Desk: After Team India's historic win in the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru, Test skipper Rohit Sharma began work for his Indian Premier League franchise, Mumbai Indians, as they aim to win a record-extending 6th title. With less than 2 weeks to go for IPL 2022, Rohit joined the Mumbai Indians camp as he flew out of Bengaluru and reached Mumbai late on Monday.

In a video clip shared by Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma can be seen entering the team hotel along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira. Rohit, who was holding Samaira, had a look at the IPL trophies that was on display at the team hotel.

Mumbai Indians also welcomed fast pacer Jasprit Bumrah as the preparations for the new 10-team season are set to get intense in the coming days.

Mumbai Indians will open their campaign against Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium on March 27, a day after the opening match of the tournament between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
