Xtra Time Web Desk: It is the business end of IPL 2022 and the race for the third and fourth play off spots is getting trickier. Gujarat Titans have climbed to the top spot in the points table and have become the first team to qualify for the playoffs, courtesy of their win over Lucknow Super Giants by 62 runs on Tuesday.
KL Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants on the other side have dropped down to the second spot after their loss against Gujarat Titans, although are the stern favourites to qualify for the playoffs with 8 wins out of 12 games. Rajasthan Royals are in the third spot with 14 points from same number of games. RCB are also on 14 points but Faf du Plessis and his team have played a game more.
