IPL 2022 : Kolkata Knight Riders unveils their brand new jersey ahead of the IPL
Xtra Time Web Desk : Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday unveiled their new team jersey ahead of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The jersey inauguration was done by the newly appointed captain Shreyas Iyer in a video shoot.
The two time IPL champions did design their kit with the synonymous purple tint with yellow dots around, which has been the signature of KKR since the fourth edition of the IPL back in 2011.
Now, with a brand new squad this season, the Shreyas Iyer led franchise would be desperate to replicate their successes back in 2012 and 2014 under that of former skipper Gautam Gambhir, by going one step further than last year and winning the title for the third time in their history.
The Kolkata Knight Riders will start their IPL campaign on March 26 against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in what would be a repear of last year's final.
