Xtra Time Web Desk : Delhi Capitals' Kuldeep Yadav was once again seen in destructive mode on Thursday against his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders in the 35th match of the Indian Premier League as the 27 year old dismantled the opponent batting line up with a magical 4-fer in just a 3 over spell.

Opening up his day with the wicket of Baba Indrajith, the chinaman then went on to take the wickets of Sunil Narine, KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer and the priceless one of Andre Russell, which again proved how much of a changed bowler he is right now, as compared to last year.

The resurgence of Kuldeep has undoubtedly been one of the biggest takeways of the IPL 2022 so far. The Uttar Pradesh bowler, who took just 5 wickets in last two IPL seasons is now second in the wicket taker’s list behind Yuzuvendra Chahal with 17 wickets so far from the 8 matches for the Delhi Capitals.

And after winning his 4th Man of the Match award this season, the sensational Kuldeep in the post match presentation ceremony said, "This is my best IPL season so far. I am enjoying a lot. I've become a better bowler now. I'm mentally more strong, now I don't fear to fail,"

When asked about competing with his fellow Indian teammate Yuzvendra Chahal for the Purple Cap this season, the left arm chinaman showed true sportsmanship and said, "There's no competition between me and Yuzvendra Chahal. He always motivated me, when I was injured. I really wish he wins the Purple Cap. He is like a big brother to me. He always backed me and supported me."

Apart from all the above accolades, Kuldeep is now the second cricketer to have 4 man of the match award in a IPL single season, only behind Virat Kohli who won 5 awards back in the year of 2016, as RCB progressed to the final.
