Punjab Kings on Friday night registered a famous win vs Royal Challengers Bangalore at the newly constructed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It was a match where everybody expected Bangalore to come out victor as they are in extremely good form.

Batting first Punjab put on a formidable total of 179 runs on the board. It was mainly due to the effort of their captain KL Rahul ,who played a magnificent innings of 91 not out. He was ably supported by Gayle (46) and Harpreet Brar(25*). infact Brar's innings is more important as punjab suffered a mini collapse in the middle. Then when Bangalore was batting Brar was brilliant with the ball as well. He took three big fish if the opposition. Virat,Glenn Maxwell,AB Devilliers all fell to him. Apart from that he took a brilliant catch as well. Harpreet Brar's allround performance enabled his team to a 34 runs win.
