IPL 2021: Tom Moody explains the reason behind Natarajan’s absence versus Mumbai

Natarajan the left arm fast bowler from Tamilnadu who is termed as the ‘yorker king’ made headlines in the last year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) and he also played a vital role in team India’s triumph on Australian soil was not playing in the first XI for Sunrisers Hyderabad versus Mumbai Indians ,a match that Hyderabad lost by 13 runs.


Sunrisers Hyderabad is struggling big time in the ongoing 14 th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). They have lost all their 3 matches that they have played untill now. Their middle order and lower middle order batting is struggling big time. Bowlers apart from Rashid Khan is performing indifferently.



On Saturday Hyderabad played Khaleel Ahmed was choosen in place of Natarajan. This decision of the team management has not gone down well with the supporters. In the wake of the anger being expressed on social media SRH team director Tom Moody clarified their stands on Natarajan. Moody stressed the fact as this is a very long tournament,workload management for Natarajan would be really crucial as he may get injury. To provide Natarajan adequate rest he was not picked in the playing XI versus Mumbai.
