IPL 2021: Mavi's playful 'revenge' against Prithvi Shaw
Xtratime Web Desk : On Thursday night vs Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals was in red hot form. Delhi's opening pair of of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan decimated the Kolkata bowling attack.
Batting first Kolkata batsmen again looked shaky. Gill cameback to form but his strike rate wasn't upto the mark. Rana,Tripathi, Karthik,Morgan all literally failed to go on and make a big score. It was only due to the birthday boy Andre Russell's cameo of 45 runs Kolkata could post a score past 150 runs.
Chasing 155 runs to win Delhi started off in blistering fashion. Shivam Mavi was the bowler for Kolkata. He bowled a wide first ball and then all 6 legal deliveries were hit for four by Prithvi Shaw making him the first player in IPL history to hit 6 fours in the very first over of a innings. Incidentally Mavi and Shaw are very good friends as they have won u-19 world cup in the year 2018 toge. After the match was over Mavi was seen taking 'playful revenge' vs Shaw as he grabbed him by his neck.
