Xtratime Web Desk: Ravindra Jadeja is undoubtedly an asset for any team he plays. Be it for national side or for his franchise he gives his 100% in every department of the game. That was on display on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai when Chennai Super Kings handed Royal Challengers Bangalore their first defeat of the season. Team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli praised talismanic India all rounder Ravindra Jadeja highly for his performance.

Jadeja came to wicket when Chennai score was 111 as they lost quick wickets. He scored wuivkfire 62 runs from just 28 balls that included a 37 run over he took of Harshal Patel. This enabled Chennai to post mammoth 191 runs on the board.In the end that total proved too much for Bangalore to chase down.

In the post match presentation when Ian Bishop asked Virat about Jadeja's performance today he praised him highly and said "I have believed in Jadeja a lot. I am happy to see him perform with the bat, ball and in the field. When he plays well, it opens up so many options not just for Chennai but for TeamIndia also". Incidentally Jadeja was out of action after Australia series as he dislocated his finger in Sydney test and had to undergo operation.
