Xtra Time Web Desk: An unforeseen situation in the form of two KKR players testing positive for COVID-19 a day prior to the match between KKR and RCB saw it rescheduled, and the BCCI made an announcement on the same matter about 7 hours before the scheduled commencement of the game today. The two-players who tested positive were Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier, and according to a press release, all other team members have thankfully tested negative as of now. The press release read: “All other team members have tested negative for COVID -19. Both Varun and Sandeep have isolated themselves from the rest of the squad. The Medical Team is in continuous touch with the duo and are monitoring their health. Meanwhile, the Kolkata Knight Riders have now moved towards a daily testing routine to identify any other possible cases and treat them at the earliest.” Our best wishes lie with the KKR camp, and we wish those affected a speedy recovery.
