IPL 2021: Clinical Delhi Capitals outplay Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets to reclaim top spot

Xtra Time Web Desk: A clinical display from Delhi Capitals saw them beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in IPL 2021 clash on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 135, DC romped home with 2.1 overs to spare. Shikhar Dhawan (42), Shreyas Iyer (47 not out) and Rishabh Pant (35 not out) all made useful contributions with the bat after Proteas pace duo of Kagiso Rabada (3/37) and Anrich Nortje (2/12) restricted SRH to a paltry score of 135.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a torrid start when they lost David Warner in the third ball of the innings, followed by Wriddhiman Saha in the 5th over. SRH Captain Kane Williamson also could not muster anything much as he departed in the 10th over after surviving three dropped catches. Abdul Samad and Rashid Khan tried to steady the ship with 28 and 22 respectively.
