In another big blow to the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021, Indian T-20 League) the news that is coming in from inside the IPL is that Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Indian wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha has been tested positive for corona. This news comes as a shock as last night IPL reported multiple cases of infection in what could be termed as possible bio bubble breach.

After this Incident came to light now there is doubt about tonight’s match between Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians. Incidentally last night also IPL authorities had to cancel KKR vs RCB tie as Sandeep Warrier and Varun Chakravarthy were tested positive for covid.

Signs are absolutely not good for IPL to go ahead amid surge in corona cases in whole of India. Apart from KKR , Chennai Super Kings ceo Kashi Vishwanath, bowling coach Laxmipati Balaji and team bus driver was also reported positive for corina. This puts a dark cloud over the fate of IPL being organised at the moment in India. Coming back to Wriddhiman issue he has been isolated away from the team. Doctors are closely monitoring him and the whole situation.
