IPL 2021: BCCI president Sourav Ganguly assures that IPL to go on as per schedule

As India is under the threat of the second wave that is swiping across the country many have demanded to either cancel or postpone the ongoing 14th edition of Indian Premier League ( IPL2021, Indian T-20 League). Speaking on the occasion Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sourav Ganguly has assured each and everyone that IPL 2021 to go on as per schedule.

Indian premier league ,14 th edition almost approaching or nearing the end of its first month. This year it is being held in 6 centres across India. Mumbai is one of the venue among them. Considering the present condition there , a dark cloud is looming large over the sky of IPL.

Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope said “There is always a danger of spread (of contagious diseases) when people gather in large numbers. Such events can always be organised later. So discussion is on whether to postpone the IPL.” In response to this statement Soura Ganguly said “It’s on…and BCCI will take all protection (against coronavirus).”
