IPL 2021: 5 talking points in Delhi Capitals versus Punjab Kings match

Sunday witnessed run thriller in both the matches. In the second match of this season's first double header at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Delhi faced off against Punjab in a North Indian derby in the Indian Premier League ( IPL 2021). Punjab batted first and put on 195 runs on the board. Delhi boosted by the 92 runs innings played by Dhawan registered a memorable win.
Now try and take a look at the some of the key moments that we think worth mentioning.
∆ Mayank firepower :
Punjab Kings opener Mayank Agarwal came back to form with the bat after a long time. After his failure with the bat in Australia series he played a hitting masterclass against Delhi. In this innings he scored runs at 191 strike rate ,which is huge. He scored 69 runs from just 36 balls.
∆ Rahul scored a fifty anchoring the innings :-
While Mayank Agarwal was going all guns blazing Punjab Kings captain K L Rahul decided to play the role of anchor. He played well. Changed gear after Mayank got out and scored 61 runs from 51 deliveries.
∆ Prithvi Shaw gave Delhi a soild start :-
Much Like the innings he played versus Chennai super kings Prithvi Shaw was at his blistering best today. He gave Delhi a flying start in pursuit of 196 runs to win. He scored 32 runs from just 17 balls before getting out.
∆ Dhawan did the unthinkable :-
Gabbar was back to his best with the bat. He was in swashbuckling form. Just decimated every Punjab bowler that came in his way. He scored a brilliant 92 of just 49 balls hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes. He set the tone for Delhi to win the match.
∆ Stoinis finished the Job clinically :-
The stage was set for a remarkable win for Delhi. Senior pro Shikhar Dhawan set the stage on fire with his 92 run innings. After Dhawan got out Stoinis just came in played a cameo and ensured there were no hiccups for Delhi enroute to victory. He remained not out on 27 from just 13 balls.
