IPL 2021: 5 talking points from Sunrisers Hyderabad versus Punjab Kings tie

On Wednesday afternoon match Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings handsomely to register their first ever win in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) tournament. David Warner's men register their first win in their 4th match. Punjab Kings batting looked very ordinary today. Now try and take a look at what we think is the 5 talking points from the low scoring encounter.
∆ Not a single batsman could cross 30 run mark :-
On the slow Chennai pitch Punjab Kings batsmen struggled big time. Not a single batsman was able to score at least 30 run on the board. Highest individual score from the innings was 22. Mayank Agarwal and Shahrukh Khan was the top scorer. Punjab finished with 120 runs on the board.
∆ khaleel Ahmed's brilliance with the ball :-
Few days back Khaleel Ahmed's selection in place of left arm pacer T Natarajan was criticised very very badly. Today on Wednesday he silenced all his critics by a superb display of pace bowling. He returned with a figure of 4-0-21-3. Mayank Agarwal, Sharukh Khan,Fabien Allen all fell to him.
∆ David Warner played a captain's knock :-
Hyderabad captain David Warner is in good form with the bat in all the four games he has played so far. Only problem is the batters from middle and lower middle order. Today opening the innings with Bairstow he made sure Hyderabad get their first win of the season. He scored 37 runs from 37 deliveries taking his side to a comfortable win
∆ Sublime Jonny Bairstow :-
Bairstow continued his form with the bat from the last match where he left off . In the last match also he scored quickfire 43 from just 22 balls. Today he remained not out on 63 runs from 56 balls. He hit 3 fours and 3 six.
∆ Fabien Allen the lone wicket taker for Punjab :-
Punjab bowlers failed to defend 120 runs. Apart from Fabian Allen noone else was able to pick wickets that lead to the downfall of Punjab. Allen took the Wicket of David Warner,which incidentally is the only wicket to fall in Hyderabad innings.
