IPL 2020: ‘It’s the small details that matter’: Virat Kohli shares video of fine tuning his bats

XtraTime Web Desk: Indian captain Virat Kohli destroys bowling attacks at his will on the 22 yards. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain takes special care of his bats like most others do. On Friday the RCB captain shared a video of him taking care of his bats with which he will set the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) on fire. Kohli can be seen cutting a few centimeters of his bat handle to have a perfect balance.

Taking to Instagam, Virat wrote, “It’s the small details that matter. For me even couple of centimeters are crucial for the balance of a bat. I LOVE taking care of my bats.”

Kohli who is also regarded as the modern great is a perfectionist and when it comes to his mean machines – i.e., his bats , he ensures they are in perfect shape. Kohli is the leading run scorer in IPL with 5412 runs from 177 matches at an average of 37.84. He has scored the runs at a phenomenal strike rate of 131.61 and has notched up 36 fifties and 5 hundreds in the league so far.

Kohli will lead a strong RCB side against Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 21.
