On Thursday, the destructive left-hand batsman created another record in the cash reach league as he became the first batsman to in IPL to reach 50 fifty-plus scores.

Warner is ahead of the cricketers like Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, Rohit Sharma, and Suresh Raina. Virat Kohli, who is the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, has the second-most in this regard with 42. Suresh Raina, who is not part of the current IPL edition, has 39 while AB De Villiers and Rohit Sharma has 39 and 38 respectively.

David Warner reached the second fifty of 2020 IPL after his first half-century came against Mumbai Indians in a losing cause. The southpaw top-scored with 60 against Mumbai Indians in Sharjah as SunRisers Hyderabad faced a steep chase of 209. However, despite his best efforts, Warner could not take the team over the line as they fell 34 runs short.

Meanwhile, the 33-year old got removed for 52 off 37 deliveries by young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi in the 15th over of the innings. After electing to bat first, Warner and Jonny Bairstow got Hyderabad to a flying start and put 160 for the opening wicket. Bairstow fell three runs short of his second IPL hundred with Kings XI Punjab trying hard to pull their opponents back.
