IPL 2020: CSK’s Deepak Chahar gets nostalgic, shares 15 year old memory with Shane Watson

XtraTime Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings Deepak Chahar has recovered fully after being tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the opener against reigning IPL champions Mumbai Indians on Saturday at the Zayed Stadium. Chahar is an integral member of the Chennai squad this season as will definitely add more strength to the CSK bowling attack which also boasts of in-form Australian pacer Josh Hazzlewood and South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada. Chahar, one would assume will be a regular in the playing XI given his potentiality to bowl in the powerplay as well as death overs.

The medium pacer recently shared a picture of him when he was 15 years old with his CSK teammate Shane Watson. He got a bit nostalgic as he wrote on twitter, “15 years challenge beat that guys . One and only THE LEGENDARY Shane Watson.”

In the photo, Shane Watson can be seen holding a pic which he received as a gift from his franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings will kick start their campaign in 13th edition of IPL against reigning champions Mumbai Indians at the Zayed Stadium on Saturday.
