Bumrah and Shami nailed the super over in a format that is believed to be ruled by the batsmen. In the first Super Over, Jasprit Bumrah gave away only five runs against an in form KL Rahul. It was even more challenging for Mohammed Shami as he had to defend only 5 runs against Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock. He came out with flying colours as he gave away only 5 runs to take the match into the second Super Over.

Lauding their efforts in Super Over was none other than Team India Head Coach Ravi Shastri. He tweeted; It’s great to wake up after a Super Super Super Over Sunday. BOOM BOOM-Shami, you beauties - @Jaspritbumrah93 @MdShami11 #MIvKXIP #IPL2020
